I think this should be considered as small amount of bubbles. But I am not sure and I have no idea how foamy looks like. It sounds like you may have a slight foaming problem due to too much fluid in the system.

There is possibility of excessive leakage from some circuit in valve body. It might be worthwhile to check torque of all accessible screws on valve body. Something may be loose.

The bubbles make me think that the trans could be overfilled that can cause whining due to air bubbles in the fluid from being whipped up by the spinning trans parts in the overfull fluid. Usually bubbles indicate an overfill condition. Get a turkey baster attached to a length of flexible hose and put it down the transmission filler tube to suck out the excess.

You currently have 0 posts. I just changed the trans fluid and installed new filters and a BD pan. Getting the oil level correct on the 68RFE seems to be more difficult than any other transmission Ive worked with in the past.
Looking on the internet I have found charts that give exact oil level measurements from the tip. Aeration is created by air bubbles entering the transmission lines and mixing with the fluid. If there is too much transmission fluid then air can leak into the system when the car runs and develop air bubbles in the solution.
